Fotomax booth
Context: Fotomax is a Chilean company dedicated to the commercialization of entertaining photographs in commercial spaces, which also had a division dedicated to the design and manufacture of Booths.
Problem: The client brought a cabin model from the United States, which he wanted to modify in order to obtain his own design patent. Therefore, the path that was taken was to reduce the number of parts and pieces by 30%, in addition to optimizing the type of material. Looking for greater lightness and versatility in the assembly.
Solution: In terms of structure, the number of parts was reduced by 30%, its weight was reduced by 35%, since it went from mild steel to a mixture between steel and aluminum. In addition, a mechanical arming system was created. A hinged door was created designed for the installation of a touch screen with an interface for the entry of money. 5 Prototypes were developed.
