Context: Mundo sistemas is a company dedicated to the control and occupational safety of companies, with its own manufacturing processes in the area of software development and housing manufacturing.

 

Problem: The company has developed problems with the plastic casing of products. Collapse of the plastic, or deterioration of the graphics as a result of the oscillation of temperatures, that was a reason to think of new product solutions. Finally, the client was looking for a formal identity or design of this support, which contains the internal electronic devices of the product.

 

Solution: A case was developed that contains 5 electronic devices horizontally. A touch sensor, power input, a printer, a fan and an electronic board. Synthesized the size by 40%, reduced the weight by 50%. 0.3 mm thick steel sheet metal was used. The pieces were laser cut.
